Senior Parents Get in the Photo / Class of 2024

Hey senior parents…I see you. You are probably right in the thick of it. Spring will be here soon which means so will graduation. College decisions are being made and things are really happening…

At every senior photo session, I ask to get images with parents or other special people who are with us …

I know what you’re thinking… I’m not photo ready or I’m not good in front of the camera. Please trust me, you won’t regret it. Plus it’s a chance for you to get super close to your teen if only for a few minutes. Senior parents, get in the photo!

Robinson Secondary School Senior

It’s almost graduation but I am still having fun with members of the Class of 2022!

Caleb wanted a relaxed urban feel for his senior images…

It was so nice getting to know him and hearing all about his plans to attend James Madison University in the fall…

Each time I meet with a senior for their session, I am reminded of how bright the future really can be. It gives me hope and reminds me of what a privilege it is for me to witness this special time in their lives. Wishing Caleb all the best as begins this new and exciting chapter!

Lake Braddock Senior

What an amazing time I had with Chase at his senior session at Lake Braddock High School in Burke, VA. He was so easy to work with…

and SOOOO handsome…

The weather in Nova was perfect that night and we chose different spots around his high school to help tell a story with his senior images..

Closed out the evening with some photos with mom. What a privilege it is to make these memories for her. I am grateful and wishing Chase all the best as he wraps up his high school days.

Burke, Va Senior Swimmer

Can you include your activity or sport in your senior session? Hells Yea you can! This senior session was so much fun.

Aleigha requested two locations for her senior photographs in Burke, Virginia. She has spent hours at this pool both competing and working as a lifeguard…

We met early on a gorgeous morning to have the space all to ourselves…

It was so much fun to get images both in the water and around the pool.

Aleigha will be swimming for Campbell University in the fall and I am so excited for her. This is part one of this beauty’s session so stay tuned for the next set..They are fabulous!

Leesburg, VA Equestrian Senior

Amy brought it to her senior session. Like really brought it. She’s such a natural…

For this senior session, we started off with Tito at Hedgeland Equestrian Complex in Leesburg, Virgina. It’s the place Amy has spent countless hours doing what she loves.

We almost rescheduled our time together due to the rain but then Mother Nature decided to get on board and the rest is magical.

Amy is off to Virginia Tech where she plans to study business. It was such a privilege to document this time for her.

Next up, we have beautiful Julia!

This is actually the fourth time I have had the pleasure of photographing this high school senior! Time really flies doesn’t it?

For Julia’s session, we chose The Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite locations for senior sessions. It has great colors and textures and the sun sets in just the right spot this time of year…

Julia shares the same birth country as my own daughter, South Korea. She is driven, focused and knows what she wants out of life…

When mom shows up to your shoot with flowers! I know what it is like to be the mom of a senior so I felt this…So sweet!

Julia plans to enter the US Military after graduation! I am wishing her all the success and happiness she deserves. I had the best time with her documenting her senior year here in Northern Virginia before she leaves for training. To say I am proud is an understatement. Go Julia…The world needs more young women like you.
